Hastymail2 is an Open Source IMAP webmail client written in PHP. Our focus is compliance, usability, security, and speed.
2015-04-16 Update:

Sadly Hastymail2 is no longer being maintained. Happily this is because we are working on a new web-based E-mail client, called Cypht. If you need support your best bet is the #hastymail IRC channel at freenode. Thanks to everyone who contributed to and supported this project!

Second Beta Release

It's been about a month since the first beta release of the new Hastymail code and I am happy to announce the second beta version is ready for download. I had hoped to have some more plugin development done by this point but if nothing else, thanks to all the helpful feedback from testers, many issues reported after the first beta release are corrected.

Changes since the last release can be found in the CHANGES file of the source, or online at:

Downloads can be found at our page at Sourceforge:

Thanks to everyone for the great feedback and testing. Development has slowed down due to some changes in my work schedule but I hope to have some more time as I get settled in to the new arrangements. We value all feedback and support so if you are interested in helping with the Hastymail project there are many ways to get in touch with us listed at our contacts page:

Were you using a gmail address or yahoo or msn or which one? Some pepole have reported that they are not receiving emails at hotmail for some reason. If there is another service that is having trouble then I need to see what is going on. Also check your junk / anti-spam folders.
